How we pick
Every shirt on HoldMyTee is our own original artwork from Amazon Merch on Demand, sorted into niche guides instead of dumped into one endless feed. This page is the editorial standard behind that sorting: what earns a design a place on the site, and what keeps one off it.
We'd rather show a short list we stand behind than a long one padded to look busy. A design has to clear every point below before it makes a guide.
What we look for
- Visual craft β clean composition, balanced layout, and lettering that holds together rather than feeling auto-generated.
- Niche-specific accuracy β the right details for the people who actually live the hobby, not generic filler dressed up to fit.
- An instant read β the joke or identity-statement should land for someone in that niche in a couple of seconds, without a caption.
- Readability on a dark shirt β contrast and outlines have to survive on the colors people genuinely wear, not just on a white preview.
- A catalog that stays current β we re-check guides regularly so dead links and discontinued designs drop out instead of lingering.
What we won't do
- Quote prices or promise availability here β Amazon is the live source for both, so we always send you there for the current details.
- Feature trademarked, franchised, or fan-art designs. Everything we show is original work.
- Make product claims we can't back up β fabric, fit, and durability live on the Amazon product page, not in our copy.
- Pad a guide with weak designs just to hit a count.
